Is atheism the default?

Have you heard people say "Well I am an atheist"? But what do they mean? They say it with much authority. They will say that Christianity is fairy tales, myth, made up. And a Christian must prove why he believes what he does, and there is never enough proof for them. But atheism by definition is nothing. Non-theist. A non belief in God. Well that's really clear. Not. Let's discuss a belief in nothing. You can not. What they should say is that I do not believe in your personal Christian deity but rather this is my belief. Then you can have a discussion.

Here for instance is Trent Horn. If you watch it, I'm sure you will not, but if you did you will hear reasoned discussions on why we Christians believe there is God. I challenge you to find anything that could equal it by an atheist.

Back to this default idea. It is historically and practically invalid. We are not all non believers. From the beginning man has searched for that something he knew was out there, but just out of sight. Even as he began to understand more about his environment and cause and effect; even more questions remained unanswered. Today at least half of all scientists are theists.  And science is only concerned with the physical world. Look at the billions of other people who explore the spiritual. No, atheism is anomaly. A creation of narcissism. Those who want to be God themselves.

  1. Atheism isn't a belief. It's merely a commonsense view that all religion is clap-trap or, as you inadvertently correctly put it - "fairy tales, myth, made up".
Atheists don't have to prove anything. It's religious people, Christians included who bang on about gods, deities, heavens and hells, saints and sinners, angels and demons who need to give some proof of it all.

Your assertion that - "Today at least half of all scientists are theists" is like the made up statistics that politicians like Donal Trump uses.

There's no way that you and your apologist heroes can convince me of the existence of deities with convoluted logic and factual inaccuracies.

If your god or other gods existed surely you guys could come up with some basic evidence.
